We are pleased to share a press release regarding the successful conduction  of  Expert Talk Series on “Cyber Security in the Age of Digital Transformation”   organized by SAL Education by   the  SAL Department of Faculty Development and Training Program for all its multidisciplinary faculties   on 31.03.2026 & 18.04.2026  at the SAL Education campus, Science city ,Bhadaj, Ahmedabad.  The two-day academic initiative witnessed active participation from more than 100 participants, reflecting the growing importance of cyber security awareness in today’s digital era.

The first expert session, held on 31st March 2026, was delivered by Mr. Jaimin S. Joshi, Cyber Security Expert and Assistant Professor at Government Law College, Visnagar. He spoke on “Cyber Crime Awareness & Legal Protection”, emphasizing various forms of cybercrimes, their social impact, and the legal remedies available to victims under Indian cyber laws.

The second session, conducted on 18th April 2026, featured Mr. Akash Nishad, Cyber Crime Investigation Expert and Founder & Director of Demmisto Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad.  His talk on “Detection & Prevention of Cyber Frauds” provided practical insights into identifying cyber frauds and adopting preventive measures to safeguard digital assets.

The expert talks aimed to educate participants about the increasing threats of cybercrime in the rapidly evolving digital society. The sessions focused on building awareness about different cyber threats, their impact on individuals and organizations, and the importance of adopting safe digital practices. Real-world case studies, live demonstrations, and practical safety tips enhanced participants’ understanding of cyber security challenges and solutions.

Key highlights of the Expert Talk Series included:

• Detailed discussion on cyber laws and legal protection mechanisms for cybercrime victims.

• Demonstration of password cracking techniques and best practices for account security.

• Awareness sessions on UPI frauds, risks of public Wi-Fi usage, VPN applications, and safe internet practices.

The event proved to be highly informative and impactful, equipping participants with essential knowledge and skills to navigate the digital world securely and responsibly.
